The State of Washington does
have a searchable Birth Index! I believe these are located in the Public Library's (Seattle,Spokane,and Tacoma) You
may call your own public library and ask if they have these on micro-films. Make sure if you do find the birth on microfilm
to write down the number, or make a copy(most library's have this convenience). this number must be included in your request
to the state for the birth certificate.
